    French life 55-71

Anybody know where I can find out what French life was like in the period of 1955-1971? And in particular what the city of Le Mans was like? What did people often do and how did they live? Those sort of things. I've done a search and haven't come up with too much.

I'm not going to do your *%^@!#$ homework for you man!

    Sorry, just kidding.

This link is to some NYU class syllabus about 20th century French culture. Not sure if there'll be much there textually, but the sources listed should be of much assistance.

If I come by any other information I'll post it.

Here's to not editing my original post. *Cheers*

Wiki link to 20th century France. Not sure if you like or use wikipedia, but should help you out. Hell, wikipedia gets me through school so I guess that counts for something.

Catholicism, Politics, and Society in 20th Century France. It's an eBook, hope you like to read because I sure as hell don't.

Your best bet is to search for books/links to postwar France, or 20th century france/french culture/society. Good luck.

No problem, I had to write a 15 page research paper about the Sri Lankan Civil War and it's relations to religion and belief, so I've had a lot of practice in research.

An interview as a primary resource is always good. Look around for some French forums or agencies and see if anyone from the era would be interested in speaking to you.
