Forget everything you know about biofuels this stuff could work and produce a 1 for 1 replacement for transportation fuels and petrochemicals without having to change our current distribution infrastructure...and bring the price of all fuels down in the years to come (hopefully) and create a fuel that is close to carbon neutral.

its ridiculous, the government thinks that by raising fuel tax, they will save the environment, in a country of 9 million people, Beijing alone HAS NINE MILLION PEOPLE! and WHAt ARE THEY DOING?! NOTHING. Damn pansy moderate government.
The problem isn't just saving the environment anymore. World oil production is straining to keep up with demand and it could enter into a sudden decline at any point in the next decade or two. However if they could use that tax to subsidize what I suggested above good for them! Nonpetroleum gasoline? Drool!

I paid $1.69 Wednesday night for 98oct.. Today Unleaded is $1.59.

There is talk Wayne Swan is growing impatient with no action on fuel prices getting out of control. No doubt it's not the government making the price rise. But they can do something.. Turns out there is this option for the removing of the GST.. Funded by the states, However they get some type of money which as they say GST is paid to the states, Can't work out the whole thing but it goes something like this..

Removing the tax on the tax the GST on fuel, The states fund it but don't it almost somehow pays for itself when worked out, So this is by what i herd is likely to work at no cost it seems.. So what are they waiting for?.
removing 12-15c in time will be eaten up, But if it keeps us under $2 p/l then do it.
And if prices return to something respectable in the future Cheap fuel maybe?.

As much as everyone thinks fuel watch is a dud, It will stop this happening. Which is at least a good thing.
Plus if your like us we have about 10 fuel stations in 10km, So the cheapest around is worth driving too. But i only use BP Ultimate so i only have 2 close by.

    Horrable...

    Hi!

Here in Essen, Germany the price for Super is 1.52 Euro. Really good for high consumption cars :-( But don't worry - be happy. We'll have fun with our cars and that's it.

    Greetings
