No one said anything about mixing. I just drink it neat. I'm not some college frat bro who mixes here. Mixing scotch is sacrilege as it is...

Bourbon is awful. In fact any whiskey made with sweets and caramel is disgusting; why I only drink the scotch.

LT, any time you want a decent malt just drop in.

    No mix is the rule

Mixing Bourbon is the only thing that can make it palatable. Becomes coke with a kick ( or Irn Bru , now THAT was "interesting" ... but awful

    Some alcohols MUST be mixed.
Became re-acquainted with Cachaca - Brazilian alcohol akin to moonshine, made from whatever's available. Became addicted to Caipirinha while I worked there. Churasco place opened in Glasgow and had to visit. Not sure what was worse ... the meat sweats or the hangover from the Caipirinhas !!! ( Think I pissed off the bar tender when I complained he wasn't making them right and got him to do it with 3 tablespoons of sugar !! Like in RIO )

When it comes to liquor I am more partial to Jaegermeister or Tuaca. If I drink a scotch, it's gotta be a decent one. My brother in law introduced me to Glenmorangie, my Dad is more partial to Laphroaig, but I prefer the former. Haven't tried that many scotches though - more of a beer guy.

Never had a mixed scotch though, alweays neat, two fingers, so I'll give myself bonus points :P
