Nice map, I find it interesting because it's partly related to some of the things i take at school (cartography, map design, geography....) I'm actually located in that blob of people in between Lake Ontario and Eire, but I suppose it won't fit.

Nice map. With the smaller text it's a lot easier on the eyes. The only problem I see is that you've got me located down on the Gulf of Mexico, around Mississippi or Alabama. My actual location is further north and east, in North Carolina.

Actually to be most accurate, Sweeny921 and myself should be located right between Car Fiend and Quiggs, with me just below Sweeny. And Ferrari Tifosi should be right about where Sweeney is now.

Sesquipedalian -- a really cool word. It means long-winded, polysyllabic, or verbose. See the word describes itself...isn't that neat?

That's fantastic. It's neat to see where everyone is and how far apart we all are. Really puts it all in perspective.

Where did you find the picture ?
I actually got the picture from my brother, who sent we a couple. I have the working copy saved in *.psd format, and this one is a *.jpg

The original version of this map is something like 48mb, as a 8000*4000 tiff file. Don't think I could post that here, but if I find out from my brother exactly where he got it from, I'll let you all know. It's a gorgeous image.

He also had a 16000*8000 tiff map of all the world's city lights at night. I considered using that one, but it would make it very hard to see exactly where everyone is.

well done uk cars and egg nog great map but has anyone else realized that it is only parts of the world where everyone is, it is like split up into sections there are no people in Africa, Rissia pr Japan but then again i guess that only English speaking people are going to go on this site, even though there are a few that done speak english as their firs language. anyway that was just an observation.

keep up the good work guys

Great Map!!! I'd give y'all a +1 but I can't. It's really interesting to see where all y'all come from and live.
