Here is an RX7 front end that is definitely not rice:


It might not look as fancy as some of the other stuff in this thread but it is more aerodynamic, produces more downforce and improves cooling over stock. Best of all it has been proven on the track. The 1993 RX7 it was attached to took first in the Rolex Gt2 championship in 1998, completed Daytona 24 4 times, and competed in ALMS.

OK, so in the case of the 997 GT3 RS body modifications:

• Suits the car: Check.
• High-quality materials: Check.
• Manufactured to the same quality as the original car: Check.

Therefore, no - my statement cannot apply to this car. It doesn’t look tacky, unlike the modifications shown in post #1

I don't know what your rants are about, Top Secret's not even doing that to sell the thing, and the thing's only purpose is to create as much hp as possible and to run as fast as possible .... your rants are honestly abit pointless ....

As are many rants on UCP. I’m simply expressing my opinion that these modifications are ruining a perfectly good car. I’d rather have one with a standard exterior but with the performance upgrades.

and japan tune cars had a uniqueness to it, having that they dont usually cost too much to buy one, people won't regard them as rich man's toy, hence their original design doesn't deserve the kind of respect ferraris, lamborghini, aston martins does .... the driver won't have the feeling that he's inferior to his car (in terms of breed) hence the driver or owner can do watever they like to it ... there's nothing artsy bout them, just pure mechanical prowess. that's japanese cars ...

and yes they are not very good looking, but nevermind, cos you know when you buy one, you're buying for whats underneath, not the strict design and layout and heritage that european supercars charged you extra for...

You seem to be under the impression that I’m slagging these things off because they’re Japanese. Take a look at what I actually said: I’m a fan of Japanese cars, just not the tacky “Fast & Furious” look-alikes, whether they have the go to match the show or not.

theyre all nasty. and that sagaris front is pure blasphemy. whatever, the rx7 isnt a bad looking car to begin with...if i had one the only cosmetic mod i would put on it is a window for the headlights to replace the pop ups
