    My Euro Trip

I went on a big cruise in europe. I was very dissapointed with Italy, its a very dirty place and the people are rude. Crotia was the biggest suprise of all, what a beautiful place. Sorry for my spelling issues Ive been up for 23 hours, I just got home from Rome today. But however I did like the amsterdam airport from all the odd things Ive heard about that place it was suprisingly nice.

    Heres some alps

mmmm ,Italians rude ? where ??
THey are one of the friendliest and most helpful
Just don't dick about in traffic or go anywhere near a mans car or woman
They ARE very animated and forcfeul which some may interpret as "rude" !!
and "dirty" ? Man you need to go to Belgium
Again, was this districts of major cities ? THe other problem can be in the tourist areas all the pick-pockets and street animals/kids !
Just sounded like a pretty poor generalisation

My boss spent two weeks there a year ago and he complained about the pollution....air and otherwise too but didn't particularly comment on the people.

    Nice pics.

In the big cities like Rome, Torino, Milan etc the air quality is pretty bad as they're pretty crowded and usually gridlocked places. Outside of the main cities though, the Italian countryside is gorgeous. I also never had any complaints about the people there.

The Adriatic coast in Croatia really is idyllic, and a great place for a relaxing holiday. Particularly because it is a little way off the beaten tourist path, and it hasn't become too commercialised and tacky, like most 'resort' style holiday destinations in Europe do.

    Sounds like an awesome trip.

Very nice pics, thanks a lot. Maybe I should ask my mom to send her pics of spain. She's a teacher and got to go as a chaperone.

You must have found the only rude people in Italy...

If anything the people are one of the best things of Italy. The are charming and funny and they have that lovely "viva la vita" attitude towards life. And though they may rip you off occasionally they do it in a way you're almost glad they did.

About dirtyness, yes it's not the cleanest of the places. But see it this way, Munich is veryy clean and everything is where should be, but it's utterly boring. Give me italian chaos everyday.

Did anyone notice I love italy?

A Spaniard loving Italy.... what has the world come to?

Seems like you went on a cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines. How'd you like the ship in general (food, service, staterooms, etc.)? Where did the ship leave from?

I went on 2 cruises with Carnival, and last week I went on Norwegian Cruiselines to the Bahamas. IMO it wasn't as good as Carnival.

I don't know what they told you about Schiphol Amsterdam airport (which I only use as a end or begin destination) but for transfer purposes I am sure Paris, Frankfurt, Heathrow or Munich are much worse. At Schiphol you may have to walk a little, but all terminals are directly connected, no need for connecting trains etc.
