2002 Acura RSX Base Vs. 1993 Toyota MKIV Supra N/A

    Ok, so here's the story.

I'm either planning or not planning (based on research results) on trading my RSX for a MKIV inline 6 n/a Supra. The car is at a licensed import dealer in campbell river. It is obviously right hand drive, has 101,000 km. There is nothing aftermarket done to it apart from some suspension upgrades and 18" wheels.

So basically I'm asking. Which car would you prefer to have or stick with in the event that you were in this situation.

I'm trying to figure out how this poll business works, so please forgive if I screw it up.

Unless you're planning a job as a mailman, I'd probably stick with the RSX. Newer so less problems, and the NA supra doesn't have the same performance. Its a pretty car though.

A non turbo Supra??? Well I voted for the Supra anyway, I would still go with it. Im not into Hondas/Acura unless you are talking bout an S2K or NSX, so go with the Supra. BTW, I like those wheels....

Well, a car is what you see it as. I for one don't consider mine girly by any means. Also, the RSX is nothing but a renewed Integra. In fact, North America and Canada's so called RSX is Europe's Integra, badged as Honda.

RHD car in a LHD country? Stick with the RSX.

    160HP? what the hell
still, that'd be better than a non-turbo supra, but seriously consider getting a Type S or whatever the RSX sporty model is called.

Are both cars manual? All else being equal, I'd go with the Supra as it's a better, more interesting motor that drives the correct wheels. The base model RSX does nothing for me. If you want to look around though, an N/A 300zx from the same era has slightly more power, same weight, a better transmission, and is a better driving car all around.

Well...if you've paid off the RSX, it would seem like the better option to just keep it and run it instead of choosing something requiring more work.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Whoever said the supra drove better.. no.. just no. You've got to put some fair work into supra's to get them to handle anywhere NEAR the integra (RSX).

Not to mention my old silvia (2.0 litres, 105kw- 140(?)hp 1105kg's (2000lbs?) was faster than a friends non turbo supra. and went around corners twice as stable. all that weight doesnt help its cause.
