Question on changing gears

I already wish I had one. It does rev pretty high at 100km/hr.

I had a 1988 998cc nissan micra and I got the speedo off the clock (100mph+[at a disused runway]) with the valves practically dancing on the bonnet. Now that was noisy, it was pretty noisy trying to do 70mph on the dual carriageway but it had no rev counter so no idea how fast the engine was spinning. Having a 4 speed box didnt help much.
