Exactly, having the CLS no one should really bother with the E-class anymore.

but they wont do a CLS estate, so youve gotta have the E for that. The E estate is one the only E class that makes sense.

I have no idea to be honest. He gets a new one nearly every year. I tell him to get a Porsche Turbo but no, he's got to drive that damn SL65. I think it has something to do with impressing his clients.

No, he's just been buying Merc's over and over for the past twenty years now. He won't switch it up.

Perhaps he is friends with the dealer?

I like Mercedes Benz' myself, while a Porsche Turbo is nice you can't really change up to next years model all the time.....

Oh, he know's that Merc dealership very well.

That's what he does, he won't hardley keep it over a year before it's gone and he has the newer model or a different model.

I just think he should get something little more exciting than his typical MB over and over again.

I'd hardly call an SL65 a sedate vehicle.

True, true. But it's nothing real hardcore, you know what I mean?

    Not really......

My parents drive an E36 328i Sedan and a Subaru Liberty (Legacy) wagon, respectively. Hardly "Hard-Core".....

From all accounts the Mercedes is a very good quality, quick, comfortable & luxurious motorcar.

I'm just saying if he's going to buy an SL65 only sell it in a year or so just to buy a newer MB, he should at least put that cash into something more track based. To him, that SL65 is simply a cruising car to go meet clients... I know, he's a complicating guy to figure out.

Well if he earns the money to switch cars every year, I would suggest that perhaps he's entitled to choose what he wants

    Unfortunately, that is so.

Yet, I would just for once like to not see a Merc motorcade everytime I visit home.
