    I think that's a porno.

It actually looks watchable, although I don't want to be seen in the movie theatre buying a ticket for it. Who knows, maybe it'll be allright.

I think the stunt was not awesome at all - it could be in any movie and I'd not be impressed. Of what little I remember of F and F 1 it was tacky, predictable, boring, full of gaudy cars, and not well acted.

I think that predicting what the 4th will be like based on these things is not that unrealistic.

For the record, I didn't think that the Bourne Identities were very good either.

Doesn't look they are going for realistic, but eh, i'll probably have a look into it.

Now there's nothing wrong with drifting, but the stuff in the third movie was just stupid. They might as well have made the film a cartoon. All these films do is encourage kids to rice-out their Civics and go and crash into things in car parks, they don't do any favour to those who enjoy drifting and driving properly. I mean, you're into modified cars in a good way, but I bet you get fed-up with all the idiots who walk around telling people their car is an RX-7 with forged pistons(!)

I mean, if you've ever seen a real drifting competition and compared it to F&F...

It might have been stupid, but at least it was "correct" with all the terms and whatnot. They did hire a bunch of people "connected" with the JDM tuner scene.

But I kinda wish they did more touge as I think that when I see Japan. But they'd have f-ed that up like an American remake of Initial D.

Can anyone name a car movie that was well acted? No? Didn't think so. The cars are the stars of car movies, and this one will be no different.

PROTIP: If you´re looking for *very good* movies, you probably should stay away from Hollywood. which you probably do, as I infer from your post you found the movies you mentioned as retarded as I did.

That said, I think the action genre is deader than dead. Nowadays they´re just f´ing propaganda films (think transformers, batman the new one). I just saw something with jason statham and jet li together. together! and it was pathetic! how can you go wrong with those two!? there wasn´t even any kung fu in it. the plot was a sad copy of Akira Kurosawa´s Yojimbo with a crooked cop added out of nowhere.

I like some Hollywood, a lot actually, 2001, Blade Runner, uh Scorcese, and I like a lot of dumb movies as well sometimes.

2001, Blade Runner (I hope the non extended version ) and Scrosese are quite some exceptions in the Hollywood context

Except for 2 Fast 2 Furious they were all good movies IMO. Not great, but good. I watched the first one at least 20 times. I don't really understand the hate either.

    I completely understand the hate.

Many people I think view the modification of the cars to be perversions and to be hideous and uncouth - on top of that, it's just another brainless action flick.

    Car snobs would not appreciate.
