    I experienced that with a 64 1/2 mustang. Makes me wonder about a caterham 7. If the mooks on top gear can do it, I have to be able to, right?

    that kind of stuff seems okay though because it's like lego for adults. but it's still cheaper to buy one secodn hand pre-built lol, unless there are specific options you want haha

    It's not so much the money you save building it as the fun you have in the process. I'd just be a little nervous taking anything I built that fast. Assembled a bike as a kid and didn't get the brakes working right. First thing I did was ride it up this giant hill behind our house (which doesn't require brakes) and then back down (which does.) That was a shock, but fortunately I'm a natural at crashing. May not work out so well on a caterham, though.
