No it's worse. They try using the brake as the clutch. With potentially catastrophic results.

Didn't they make the brake pedal 2.5 times bigger than a clutch/throttle pedal for this very reason?

Well you don't go looking at the pedals when you drive.

What you do is slam on the brake with the left foot as if it was the clutch. And then the police almost rear ends you. I was on the passenger seat...

Of course you don't look at them but you feel it's bigger... no? I have troubles actually with pedals since my feet are too wide, my right foot always gets stuck under the brake pedal when using the throttle one... a problem that happens to be fixed when driving a manual car since the brake pedal isn't so damn wide

I guess there wouldn't be a market anymore
260k € are a lot of money for a not so exclusive car. I mean, they aren't limited or special editions as Spyker, and built in some thousands of units.

    Well maybe that's the problem.

Since the brake pedal is wider when you press the hipotetical clutch what you find instead is the brake, which you wouldn't if the brake pedal was normally sized.

Or they could just learn to drive an automatic.

Well the LP640 is quite expensive to me as it is, but I don't think it's as expensive as a Pagani Zonda right?

again, two completely different cars. forget the Top Gear test. I think we already discuss this.
btw, the Pagani is handbuilt (powertrain apart) in 16/17 units a years just on order and were all sold out already more than a year ago even if the production of the Zonda should end this year whit the CInque and R, while the new car should be produced in the new factor.
the Murcielago is built in some hundreds if not a thousand units a year, mostly assembled by hand (but not built).
the price of a Pagani is at least two times higher than that of a Murcielago.
the performance are very different though, you should compare the Zonda with Enzo, Carrera GT, even Veyron and other stuff like those, all of those have a carbon fiber chassis for example.
The Murcielago on the other hand is like a 599 GTB or a DBS. the fact that it is the only one of it's "segment" that has a central engine layout let think people that it is something bigger. but it isn't, carbon fiber isn't used as a structural element, just for comparison.

EDIT: Murcielago's price (265k €) is quite similar, a litlle bit higher (8%), to 599 GTB's one (245k €). don't know the precise figure for the DBS, but it should be in the same range. in Italy. I think also Spyker cars have similar price, but again, they are different cars.

SLR has a carbonfibre chasis and is usually compared with the 599 and Corvette.

In my opinion the Murcielago is a proper supercar, just one that's a little behind the times that's all.

Hence Lamborghini has the space to move upmarket, if they want.

    Corvette?!
they all have a frontal engine, rwd, """similar""" shape... and that's all I think
then, we could discuss if the SLR is worth all the money they asked, or if the Corvette is worth of to be compared to higher value's cars despite it's poor interior.

btw, the SLR has superior performance thinking about the 575M (599 was available 3 years later than the SLR) but it isn't as good or exclusive or intriguing as a Carrera GT or a Zonda.

Autoblog saying it's a Murcielago SV...
Well, let's not bother wasting our time guessing until it's actually out.
