    Yup its slow but its to be expected as we are on a wireless broadband plan seeing as our phone line is too crap to handle normal broadband.. and the nearest sever/whatever for cable broadband is like 20km away.

    The plan is getting better, its $80 a month with 2gb bandwidth, any extra cost $5 a gb. It used to be $50 a gb. The speeds from the wireless broadband towers are also meant to be getting faster though no progress has been seen yet, but I can still play X-box Live if I want with no lag.

    EDIT: I forgot that this is my computer and the internet is going through a wireless network, which slows the internet down a bit.

    A$80/month for 60GB, but that includes uploads. So anything I download by torrent effectively doubles in size. Still, I don't pay for a phone service.. free VoIP line though.

    australia seems really expensive. right now i'm paying $100 us for verizon fios triple. fiber optic home phone (includes a lot of calling stuff), my super fast internet and cable with over 100 HD channels

    well would mine show up faster if i could change the location to my State...cause the closes location was like 150miles away i think....dont get me wrong, i think its really fast...i just thought it would show up faster if i had a better location...

    You might notice my ISP is located 150 miles away as well in my test results

    k...its fast at my house...but wait till i go back to my dorm tomorrow, u want to see slow...its very..not dial up slow, but its just enough to make u mad slow...
