Rarity of two seat sports racers?

I'm looking to get a car that would fall under the classification of a D or C sports Racer (DSR CSR). So far the only cars I can find that would accommodate a passenger are made by Radical (sr3, sr4, sr5, sr8) or ADR (adr3). Can anyone help me find any other cars out there that are similar to these, but at less of a premium? I've seen toyota world sports racers that are close to my cost, but all are driver seating only.

    Any ideas anyone?

are you considering track use, street use or both?

I realize saying both narrows the options considerably, both if possible but I'm mainly looking for track only.

Choices are not so great, I came across this one 5 years ago in Spa, the badge says Ciada engineering, but I don't know anything more about it (did not look for it either,,,)

Have you looked at VdeV cars from the likes of Norma, Ligier and Pilbeam? I also believe that Lola has just launched a new track-day car.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

So... you guys are saying several things
    A) I'm in the wrong country
    B) There is no such thing as an economical sports racer
    C) The only way to get one of these cars in the us is used

We are not saying it, but I think you are drawing a valid conclusion

Shit... well i need a passenger seat for an instructor. I don't understand why there isn't a market for sports racers in the US... it seems absolutely idiotic to blow $30-40k to turn a street car into a semi-ok racecar when you can buy a track car to begin with.

This country makes me feel like im taking crazy pills... time to go watch the nascar channel.

probably because these are only 2 liter screamers which may not appeal to many people, and therefore would not attract attention, TV rights, in short "money"
This will provide you with a bit more info on the European scene.

    LOL thats a perfect explanation.

Oh and a seven was actually my first choice as my primary venue is autocross for now. However the nearest track gets a whole lot closer soon and I feel like aero is mandatory in 2008 (will be more like 2010).
