So $4k off is actually quite a bit more than I thought.

Your education is the most importmant thing you can have, so do anything to achieve it, even student loans (that you will pay back shortly).

Fortunatly, even though we lag behind in primary and secondary education, the US has some of the best colleges in the world. And fortunately my parents will pay for me to go to one of them. Though I'll be in debt for I while.

Deferred from UGA early action! Bummer, now I have to fill out part two of the application and hope they accept me under regular admissions.

I have a bad feeling about A&M also, since it's been a month and a half since I submitted my application and haven't heard back, everyone I know that's gotten in has heard back within a week or two.

buddy check out nebraska! ive been to school in california and nebraska its great out here. worth at least checking out

I reccommend going to a school thats big into college football. It adds a lot to the college experience.

and as far as the application process goes. apply everywhere you can, you never know where you'll get in, and you never know who will turn you down for whatever reason...

What about health, happiness, friends, and family? I rate all these things considerably more important than education, although education is certainly very high on the list.

Graduated today and one of the speakers, a local television journalist, said a few times to us that he's happy he isn't one of us and doesn't have to go out in this job market. How uplifting.

It's the truth. I'm glad I didn't go to college just for that reason. Skilled trades ftw.
