Fuel consumption is actually slitghly worse in the 1er. But it's faster. In fact it's almost as fast as a Jag XKR. Which costs more than twice as much.
But still, you'd get more car for your money with the 335i, and it's not that big of a step up. It's not like the 335i is slow either. I'm not saying that 135i is a bad car, it just seems extremely expensive for the size of the car.

In the hands of an inexperienced driver on a tight mountain road with damp condition and leaves fallen from the trees you'd be faster in the RS6. In the GT2 you'd be killed in the second corner most probably.
The RS6 should be an amazing car, if it comes out as expected. Bravo Audi for doing great AWD cars.

Don't think in terms of size but in terms of what it offers.

What this car is, is a performance bargain. A practical Z4M if you want.

True. If you want the performance, but you get none of the practicality of a bigger coupe like the 3 series.

I totally forgot about this thread.
We can use it for electing UCP car(s) of the year.

So, if you have suggestions, keep 'em coming!

Rocke is the Awards dude I suppose, and he did ok last year running them. I think that we should run the awards in the new year.

I remember David said we were going to do the same thing over again, so might as well use an existing thread where we already have choices

I usually do the awards and such in December and have it go into the New Year. That can always be moved around if you guys want to start suggestions in November, then nominations and final voting in December.

With that, if anyone wants to help let me know because the awards are a lot more work than I'd like to do.

Well we did talk about me helping you last year with the awards and I couldn't do it since I wasn't a moderator. This year I am though. Since you're gonna be drunk 99.5% of the time I can run them as well - we can work as a team.

Suggestion threads should be open until 12/31, and final voting should start on 01/01. What if the greatest thread of 2008 is created on Dec. 30? We'll look stupid if the awards are already over.
