    Cool, a 60-valve Subaru Boxer-12. Now that's something interesting.

Apparently it was absolutely rubbish. And the Subaru flat-four engine was apparently inspired by the Lancia flat four engine.

    Lancia ftw, or something...

M1 will NEVER be forgotten (not by me anyway ).

Reasonable production numbers, racing pedigree, etc. I saw photos of a few from the Le Mans classic series. They still rock.

As for the homage, I'm quite prepared to forget that.

    hello all,
That is a very hot BMW in red,
"it's called "BMW M1 Homage Concept", in case you missed it"

I certainly missed it, when was it designed anyhow?

How about a car from Morocco named the Larika---anyone seen one in North America?

It was a concept car presented this year at Villa d'Este to commemorate the M1's 30th anniversary.

it's Laraki, not Larika, and I think it's just a design study. welcome on UCP

The Laraki Fulgura was shown a couple of years ago at the Geneva Motorshow, it was more of a concept, there were plans fro production, but apparently no financing.

they made three versions of the Fulgura, and two of the Borac.
