Apart from Jaguar E-Type, which comes as a default car for any classic car event, the British automotive industry was represented by this sporty 1957 AC Aceca with a 125hp Bristol engine. Told to be a Mille Miglia participant, it is one of 328 produced cars and is completely original.

One more of the exhibited Mercedes-Benz cars - 1936 Mercedes-Benz 290 Lang Pullman-Limousine - took a part in a parade during 1936 Olympic Games in Germany and was aimed at reich leaders. Generally, W18 Pullman-Limousine was produced through 1934-1937 and costed 9900 marks - way cheaper then Horchs. A complete restoration of this car took 7 years.

Together with a Henry Martin Leland's Fleetwood-made All-Weather Phaeton, another Cadillac V16 was exhibited at the Oldtimer Gallery - a very special 1930 V16 Sport Roadster California, also by Fleetwood. According to a legend, one of the 16 Sport Roadster California's made was purchased by a 16 years old American boxer Jersey Joe for the money he received as a prize for USA Champion title. This massive 180hp Sport Roadster belongs to a private collector.

Chrysler CM6 was presented at 1931 New York auto show and had to become Chrysler's 'new face'. The inline-six established on CM6 had 78hp and allowed to drive at 89kph. Not much, but it wasn't designed for high-speed driving. The main objective of CM6 was comfort - not a schick of Cadillac's V16, but a comfort for mid-class Americans. Owing to it, the car's price was only 935 USD. Smooth and comfortable driving, attractive look and permanent changes imposed by Chrysler every year allowed to produce about 38000 CM6. Most of them were 5-passenger sedans, while only 1492 Convertible Coupe bodies were made, like this one coming from 1931.

And, finally, some other cars from Oldtimer Gallery.

1-3. 1986 Moskvich 21406 prepared for rally in accordance with A2 group rules. 21406 was a villager's version of 2140, which in turn was a further modification of 412. The main differences between 21406 and 2140 were increased clearance and strenghtened suspension. In turn, this 21406 has also a tube frame installed as requested by the rules, additional engine protection, additional light. Also the body was slightly lightened by getting rid of some excessive parts like front and rear bumpers. Together with it, the interior remained almost standard, except for some minor changes like different seatbelts or fire extinguisher - even the 4-passenger scheme was remained.

4-6. Bugatti model car. Greatly done and pretty looking.

1-2. 1957 Chrysler New Yorker with original bodypaint and interior. As they say, 'the most authentic car of the show'.

3-4. Chevrolet Bel Air. Standing among heavily tuned cars, I wouldn't wonder if it has some major modifications inside.

    That Chrysler looks fantastic.

And the Chevy does look modified indeed.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.

Tires are much too wide for the period.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
