    Go watch this movie, now.
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death...

saw it, and really didnt think it was that good. there were funny moments, and it was well acted. cloony was excellent. but all in all, it was underdeveloped and unfulfilling.

That would be a first for a Coen Brothers movie. Unfortunately we still have to wait two more weeks before it hits theaters.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Didn't like. Still think the best movie of the year is In Bruges - excellent work.

I guess you didn't see the mess that was The Big Lebowski.

I'll second the recommendation of In Bruges, that was excellent. Either that or the Spanish horror flick [REC] are my two faves of the year so far.

Mess? Did you say mess? It's one of the finest films ever. Exceptionally funny.

Well, that's your opinion. And your opinion is wrong.

I just don't see what all the fuss is about. I think it's one of those films that everyone is told is 'brilliant', 'hilarious' and a 'classic' before they see it so their mind is already made up before they see it. Ignoring all the hype about it, if you just watch it and try to appreciate it for what it is there aren't more than 2 or 3 amusing moments in the movie. The rest is just a mindless plot, some cardboard cut-out characters, and few famous actors trying their best with a weak script. In my opinion.

??? WTF??? If you wanted a low blow you could have mentioned The Hudsucker Proxy, which I also happen to like.

Exactly. No Country for Old Men was way overhyped and not that great.
    Big Lebowski was just sublime.

I have to agree about NC4OM, I understood what they were trying to do, but they just didn't accomplish it.

WTF?! The Big Lebowski is my favorite movie of all time. If you didn't like it, I encourage you to watch it again if you have seen it only once. The first time I saw it I thought it was weird and over-hyped, etc but the second time I saw it, it clicked and I have loved it ever since. If you have seen it more than once and still didn't like it, then, to quote the Dude, "That's like, your opinion, man"

However, Burn After Reading, it was good and like most Cohen Bros movies I think I need to see it more than once to fully appreciate it. But I thought it was good but at the end I just said "That was f***ed up." but I think the Cohen Brothers go for that.
