Not as bad as first laps on cold mornings.
Cold track, damp in places, fine in others.
Many get over confident and then come a cropper

However, if all you want is to "do a lap" then it's actually a good time and take a 20 minute lap

I shoudl add the other possibility is to ASK if you can go out with someone else.
SOme regulars are fine with letting you sit in the passenger seat --- however, remember you're then going in a car with someone you do NOT know Think about it for a minute SCARY !!

I don't want to set any lap records, just want to experience the Karussel etc.

I had a similar project a year ago, lately trashed due to University.
another problem could eb the fact that you can't rent a 'Ring-car if you are under 25, but as happened to GT1Street they let sign the contract to his father, even knowing that tha car was going to be driven by the kid

..erm, a car dealer... ..but probably the biggest supercar dealer in Europe...!! ..watch out for CLK-GTR, Prosche GT1, Veyron, some Enzo's, Pagani's or much more... (AUTO SALON SINGEN: Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Oldtimer, Aston-Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, McLaren, Maybach, Bugatti, Luxus Cars, Autos, Vintage)

I was in the BMW museum in Munich (even before they opend the door to the public) and it was quite nice..

..and as I'm from Switzerland, I've got to say, that the Swiss alp roads are definitely a must. .especially the road to Stelvio...
..and if you want to see a couple of supercars on the road, just take place in Zurich or St.Moritz during a nice and sunny spring or summer day...

I drove from Bormio, which is also Italy.....from Switzerland you will use the Bernina pass, and you either go through Livigno or via Tirano, but that's all Italy....coming directly from Switzerland will take you via the Umbrail, but only through a tiny corner of Switzerland.....

I drove from Bornio too, and then down on the other side...and then I came back

can't say if one side is better than the other, but from Bormio the road is a little larger and has better bends probably.

Has anyone been to the Deutsches-Museum in Munchen?

I bought some books, one on Germany, one on Central Europe. Geneva sounds cool, and I've added Prague to the list.

Oh, my mistake, I didn't review this and I thought you mentioned the Technik Museum Sinsheim, looking back over it, you mentioned both.

I think we kinda covered that earlier.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
