BBC anounces its Formula 1 broadcast team. (no James Allen!!!)

Brundle is the only current member to make the switch from ITV. New crew includes David Coulthard. James (the cock) Allen has been dropped in favour of BBC Radio Five Live's Johnathon Legard. More info here. Eddie Jordan is also strongly rumoured to be invlolved in some capacity.

Sounds alright, though F1 isn't going to be as good in '10

Good to hear they did not cave to the FIA's pressure.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Both Ted Kravitz and Louise Goodman have been dropped for Sky Sports News and former ITV presenter Lee Mckenzie who has reported on the A1GP aswell as World Superbikes. So there is still the female element there to replace Louise but IMO Lee is quite a bit prettier than Louise so thats always a good thing.

For anyone who is interested her website is here. www.leemckenzie.tv

Edit: It seems as though the FIA don't just penalise drivers these days. They're trying to stop Brundle from moving to the Beeb.
    Here's the story.

i dont think they'll do as good a job as the ITV team. Who have a nice setup of presenting the races now.

But one thing is very important. No commercial breaks. Uninterrupted racing

Oh, and people overseas can watch it easier. And you can watch it on iPlayer. Bonus!

Why would you say that? I can watch the MotoGP on three different channels and the BBC coverage is certainly the best. We do not get ITV here, so I can't really judge, but I have heard quite a few complaints particularly about James Allen.

I am glad they won't have that silly bitch who interviews in the pit lane, it means we won't have her asking drivers stupid questions. Like if they are dissapointed thier engine blew whilst they were leading etc etc.

Thank god he's gone IMO, the silly bastard practically hyperventilates at the very sound of lewis hamiltons name, and to be honest I dont think he would have made it through next season without some sort of brain injury due to oxygen starvation, assuming none has occured already during the whole jenson button era. I think we need a couple of yanks doing the commentary for f1, at least then, having no yank drivers in the series, they wont give two tosses if a pommy driver is getting close to the front of the race.
At least Martin keeps his cool and tries his best not to show bias.
