Visited the Johannesburg International Motor Show

Decided to drag Terry off to the motor show directly after dialysis this evening to avoid the weekend crowd chaos. Yup, my turn to do the dragging! With little time and driving the wheelchair, I cherry-picked like crazy, so many more mundane cars escaped the camera.

I can't think of anything funny to say about the show, I'm experiencing total sense of humour failure and entering a deep slit-my-wrists depression for the following reasons:

    This

    ...and this

    ...and this

    ...and this

    ...and this

    ...and this

    ...and this

    ...and this

    ...and this

    ...and
    Doug

We start any venture with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before we empty the bag of luck.

    ...and

Any new models on display (cars, not girls)?
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

Emo is guy-liner, hair covering one eye and androgyny. This isn't it.

    "Pearl" they call it.

Emo-ness = emotion i.e. my expressed depression, right? If so, it's because I'm a pensioner, permanently out of car market and have no hope of ever owning any of the above cars. I can only look, like a kid with his nose squashed up against a sweetshop window.

    I feel you.
What Roentegen probably meant by "emo", is a type of person characterized by certain music, fashoin, hairstyles etc... who is constantly overwhelmed by self pity, even if they are not in a bad spot or depressed. They are considerd annoying whiners by most people.
The reference to wrist slashing was probably what m ade Roentagn call you emo. I don't think you really qualify as emo, he just misenterpreted what you said.
Here's what Wiki has to say.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

The white DBS does indeed look fantastic.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.

I have nothing in common with the Wiki definition, my emo-ness stems entirely from a permanent state of AM DB9-lessness.

    And is entirely understandable
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

Well, that being the case, I'm just as emo as you brother! As is 99% of the world population
