Because it is probably an old oil field and doesn't yield more than a few dozen barrels a day. They've been putting in new wells here lately by the dozen. In any case, we're a lot closer than most and our prices don't particularly reflect it.

Gas is about 66c here.
And petroli filled mums car up with 98oct for $1.33.
