Oh noes. The V12 vs. V8 Ferrari debate is back.

I'm almost always on the side of the V12, but there's something I really like about the California. The size and the fact that its front engine remind me of the 250GT SWB Berlinetta.

Isn't a V10 the perfect compromise mathematically?

Not really. I think the V10 is an evolutionary dead end. My BMW has a V10 and I like the V12 in the 760 and the V8 in the M3 MUCH better.

The GT2 could suffice as it's new this year.

I shall nominate it thought I do not expect it to win.

Why not? There's absolutely no reason the Porsche GT2 shouldn't win. Performance, pedigree, looks . . .

That would go in mass market though.
