ZR1. ZR-1 was the old one.

GM said an hyphen doesn't suit its current naming patterns.

Maybe jump means the ZR-1 of yore... Who knows?!

The V10 Challenger will not be made.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that any car other than the ZR1 and GT-R stand a chance for overall honours in this category? I may not be as sophisticated as some car reviewers, but I recognize that these are two very special cars and one of them probably deserves to win.

It's more or less a given.

And the Challenger SRT10 Concept is now ruled ineligible.

Why couldn't the Tesla Roadster be in here, its around or over 100K, they will be made in small numbers to keep them exclusive and it gets to 60 in 4 dead. I would say that sounds like a super car.

I didn't say it wasn't eligible, I simply 'criticized' Ferrer's efforts to find flaws in my work

I accept it if you want to nominate it.

The Tesla is neither a high-end car or a supercar....it's an electric kit car that has some zip..that is all IMO. It looks like a 15,000 kit car...if looks account for anything.

Personally I don't think the tesla should count. Maybe for best american car, but its not really a 'supercar', its a revolutionary car maybe, primarily for the transformation of the 'electric car' image. What makes it expensive is that its really still a new concept overall even if the car is production.

I'm going to have to thin a bit before giving a vote.
I dont if I'll make home tonight
