    i am not a native southerner, but i have lived there long enough that its my favorite area of the country... do i like racism, no. does it exist in the south, yes. i try to avoid those parts of the south, while enjoying the rest of it.

    im actually just screwin around. the south is my second favorite part of the country after the midwest. as you already said, they are pretty similar but i would like to add that its a lot warmer down south.

    Not necessarily a good thing. 95 degrees and 95% humidity sucks. Plus there's the killer kudzu

    to be honest we get about the same kind of heat and humidity out here during summer...then we get super cold in winter.

    One of the things I like about here is that it gets hot, but it's dry. Not as much snow as I'd like though, especially this year.
