im speaking of the R35 GTR. Godzilla. that car, all the hype. you see if you twin turbo a 350, you run into problems. you can't just turbo it you have to mess with every aspect of the car to do it right and even still it won't be fully reliable as if it came turboed.

they may not be light but take power easy. also they seem to be pretty well balanced which helps cornering. of course lightweight is the best of both worlds.

not if you do it properly and use the APS kit..

theres lots of ways to do it right, and lots of ways to do it poorly. just like very car. if you want 800 hp, then yeah, its gonna be a lot of work, and the engine will probably blow itself up every few thousand miles (maybe hundred). but if you go for a low boost setup, have it installed by someone that knows what they are doing, do all of the NECESSARY upgrades, and dont run around with your boost controller at max boost all the time, you can have a relatively reliable 400 hp Z.

I say NA S2000 of these cars, but the new 380Z is neat, I wouldn't mind one of those.

if you've ever sat in an s2000, its made to be a race car. it has no creature comforts. its a roadster. nothing looks nice it mad for function. the Z is not that. two different cars in a similar class.

yungtris, what part of trinidad are you from?

    i tried sitting in an s2k. i don't fit.

they do have creature comforts though.. they have a radio, ac, etc. not much compared to a z, but still enough to get you through life. btw an s2k CR is at the honda dealer a few blocks away. saw it out front when taking the wifes car in for service.

yeah... im 6'1'' and while i shoudl be able to fit in there, my knees were up against the dash. i guess there are some rails you can buy that extend the seat back another 2 or so inches, but then you lose that tiny bit of space and any ability to lean the seat back to your desire.

i was considering buying one until i sat in it.

i think Bluey et al had the problem of the top of the windscreen being in the middle of their vision.
i had no such problems obviously lol... pretty comfortable car, could be a daily no problem. nothing like a racecar

I'd have a normally aspirated 350 Z. Good power and good torque. You can push if you want but drive relaxedly too.

I was quite surprised (negatively) when I checked the weight of the G37 Coupe, 1781kg. It's a bloody whale.

No, if you want light you have to go british.

that is quite heavy, for a coupe. i expected it to be around 1500-1600kg (although i suppose that's where the 350Z is?).
to think subaru can make a liberty wagon weigh under 1500kg
