I gues that's kinda like ours.
    Late August/Early September - Oct. /Nov. 1st 1/4
    Oct./Nov. - mid December 2nd 1/4
    3 weeks xmas break
id Jan- Late March/ early April 3rd 1/4
    2 weeks spring break
    Mid April - mid/late June 4th quarter
    3 months til school starts

Our colleges I think have more liberal breaks as well.

Oh. So there really is no American equivalent. That's interesting. I hate standardized testing. Some say they work, some say they don't. I say they're just annoying.

Are you comparing holidays for colleges?

We get 1 month off after Christmas.
We don't get Election Day off.
We don't get 2 weeks of Spring Break, we get one.
Probably more like 2 months of summer vacation than 3.

I like to think of mid jun-july-august as 3 months even if it isn't.

2ndCC, tomorro the UAI's come out.

    The Australian school year goes:
    1st Term
Late January/ Early February to about Easter (Usually 10 Weeks)
    2 weeks Holidays

    2nd Term
April to early July (10 weeks again)
    2 weeks

    3rd term
late july to early october (and again 10 weeks)
    2 weeks holidays

    4th term
    october to december
10 weeks then holidays to next jan/feb
I want to die in my sleep like my Grandma, not screaming like the other 3 people in her car.

umm, different type of consultant. not economic, more of a engineering type consultant, or even marketing. which product is best to produce, or given these failure rates, which will cost the company more, and which will lead to higher profits.

    make sense?

My joke and I know it is kind sad LTSmash is how many people re in banking and business outta passion for the job and how many are in it for the passion for money? Or being forced into it by their parents? I think the same of people that go to med school.

IT does however seem that you have a genuine passion for the economy/business though which I think is a better motivator to join an industry than for financial reasons.

I suppose I am more of a dreamer and want people to pursue their dreams and learn for the sake of learning - I love university for that.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It was more of joke; everytime one of my friends or someone I know says thay want to go into consulting I bring that video up. It was just tongue and cheek stuff.

Is any game theory built into this, or is it all considered to be a subset of it?

Are these exams the equivalent of British GCSE's or A-levels?
IF it's GCSE's then 7A*, 2A and a Distinction* in a Btec diploma, if its A-level then should be 5 A's by the end of the year. i have 7 exams in January to look forward to

And Game therory isn't too hard to grasp once you have had the initial concept explained its relatively simple just time consuming like most of the other algorithms in decision based math.
