    McLaren SLR Stirling Moss

The roadster SLR is out and they named it after Stirling Moss sorta like the 722.

    It will retail for €750,000, they are making 75, it'll have 650 horsies from a 5.5L supercharged V8 and a five-speed auto (slop). It'll hit 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph).

More pics - I am sure someone can get a press release but I don't do the media thing and haven't seen one yet.

Strangely enough, I kinda like it.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I meant to say it'll hit 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. I shall amend this.

Wait, is that a concept or is it going production like that? That would be brutal to the face at 200 mph.
    Big cities suck

I think this is the production car and I think you wear a helmet.

It'd still be pretty crazy. But very, very cool. I like it, it takes balls for mercedes to add something like that to their lineup.

Hmm, not bad. It's new and raw but the front end needs work. It's like a luxury Radical almost.

It looks great, it'll go crazy fast and be even more crazy fun to drive I am sure, but Mercedes for the love of God, STOP making special edition SLRs! I thought it was going to be a limited production model, for just a few years. Then they were like, no we have the roadster, then the 722, then the 722 roadster, now the Stirling Moss, next the Stirling Moss Coupe GT.

Agreed, just let the SLR die and make something new with the McLaren name.

Looks like they tried to unsuccessfully mix old and new design theories.

I still think it's just as ugly as any of the other SLR's. I think they need a new concept for C-class or something
