    MGS?

Feynman put it something like this:

It is easier to believe in the known irrationalities of terrestial intelligence than the unknown rationalities of extraterrestial intelligence.

If you saw the footage they showed of someone home video of an orange light in the sky you could easily tell it was a hot air baloon travelling at night. You can see the conichle shape at the bottom of the balloon being lit up by the person flying it using the burners.

You can see a much closer image of those orange lights on the ITV News (requires Silverlight installed)

You gotta hand it to them.

Do you think that it's probable that a being that could design a craft that can travel many light years in a reasonable amount of time couldn't create a obstacle avoidance system?

    I think not.

The reason they traveled so many light years is to sample the beer. Thus the collision.

It happened here about a year ago. Destruction all around offcourse. The blade landed on a beach that is crowded with people in the summer. The people basically sunbathe right next to the wind mills

That time it was by a lightning strike. Basically it caused the layers of carbon fibre to disintegrate from eachother causing weak spots. Because it was running at high speeds then this caused it to seperate from the windmill. One blade fell 20 meter away and a second split in half and was launched 300 meters away.

Pretty impressing sight to see those blades so far separated from the mill. Awesome forces.
