I do have Motortrends from 2002, I think, and it's fun reading the future car forecasts and seeing that they're nearly all wrong.

Remember the Cadillac 16 concept coupe thingy? I don't think we're getting that anytime soon. But yes, that concept was featured on Motortrend's front page.

Of course, mine aren't nearly as old as yours, but give me 30 years and it'll be there. I also have a good set of National Geographics from about 1989 to about 1998ish. They're in impeccable condition, and I plan to keep them just to browse through them for fun.
Yes, National Geographics are fun to collect. I have some in the garage. Mostly 1960s and 1970s.

Here are three magazine covers. Motor Trend, Jan., 1957, Nov., 1964 and Nov., 1965.

Haha, love the Special Buyer's Guide. It has a long history, I guess.

Trying to decide what to do with my old magazines. I have Road & Track and Sports Car Graphic and a few Motor Trends back to the early 1960s. Not every issue. I also have lots of Car and Driver, Automobile, and various other magazines. I thought when I retire I might travel around to car shows and sell them. But that may be more work than I want to do . . .

Speaking of old magazines, I was sorting out my Motor Trends. Here are some of them from various years:

Hard for me to pick a favorite car magazine. Probably Car Life or Motor Trend.

Well-written and a detailed data chart. Here is an example (a test of a '68 Plymouth GTX with 426-Hemi):

My set goes from 1970s to 1998! It's awesome reading them and seeing the old advertisements for cars long gone.

Ahh...the days when people longed for FWD in a world of RWD.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Car Life magazine does not exist anymore. Not that I know of, anyway.

Issues can be found on ebay, though
