Doesn't the V6 already have like 300bhp or so? That's probably plenty.

How much does it weight by the way?

That's not bad for a bigish coupé. Now take it to Europe.

and to clarify, they are doing an R model, with at least the 2.0T. Havent seen info for the V6 yet though. This will have all of the luxury items stripped out. but still have the brembos, LSD, better suspension, and only available with the 6 speed manual. and it will be cheaper than the Track specification which is fully loaded, but with all the go-fast goodies. if they release it with the V6, i may have to go take a look at it.

I read about R model in autoblog. Fine by me, but why the biggest wheels?

More class winners for the AJAC cars of the year form Wiki.

Best New Small Car (under $18,000) - Toyota Corolla
Best New Small Car (over $18,000) - Pontiac Vibe
    Best New Family Car ($22,000-$30,000) - Mazda6
Best New Family Car (over $30,000) - Volkswagen Passat CC
Best New Luxury Car (under $50,000) - Hyundai Genesis
Best New Luxury Car (over $50,000) - Audi A4
Best New Prestige Car - Mercedes CL 550 and Mercedes SL 63 AMG (tie)
Best New Sports / Performance Car (under $50,000) - BMW 135i Coupe
Best New Sports / Performance Car (over $50,000) - Lexus IS F
Best New Convertible - Audi TTS
Best New SUV / CUV (under $35,000) - Subaru Forester
    Best New SUV / CUV ($35,000 - $60,000) - Ford Flex
    Best New SUV / CUV (over $60,000) - Mercedes-Benz M-Class BlueTEC
Best New Pick-up Truck - Dodge Ram

Some of these choices do not really inspire me with confidence in AJAC and/or the system they use to rate the cars.

As I'd heard, they judge as if these things were appliances. View that sample. So very consumer non-enthusiast oriented so it's not much use to people like us really.

Why would the Pontiac Vibe win... but not the Toyota Matrix? They're the same car.
