Then again, we're talking about the same ppl who thought Jazz would be cooler as a Pontiac Soltice instead of a Porsche racecar.....so I don't know why I'm so surprised.

Last time I checked Lamborghinis aren't made by GM.

I know that.

My point is that they are taking a character that was originally a Lambo and they are making him a Corvette....when there was already a Corvette character in the Transformers universe (Tracks). That's what makes no sense to me.

whats the difference if they did name the corvette "Tracks"?? other than the name and type of car, the movie's autobots dont have any similarity with the G1 characters.

Well then I guess they could make Optimus Prime a Cadillac Escalade, or how about a Cobalt?

I'm sure that won't matter to any of the fans, will it?

Why maintain any ties to the source material, if that's the case?

The new trailer is on the web allbeit in poor "unofficial" formats. But it reveals a few more details. It seems Skorponok is in this sequel and bumblebee is seen for the first time in his upgraded form. I'm still excited.

That gigantic wheel robot is Demolishor, one of the constructicons named Devastator.

He just forms the torso of Devastator.
