    USF1: A New American F1 Team

Lame name, I know, but kind of a cool concept. Although not sure I like that Danica Patrick is trying to be tabbed for it. She can't win in IRL. That is a total PR stunt to get sponsorship, money and attention. A $63 is nothing they will not be contenders but as an American F1 fan I am happy to know that I will have a home team to root for. This would also help get the team (and sport in general) a home US race.

^ depending on the time of the month. Just kidding, I like Danica's tenacity, I think she could use a little more consistency though. In any case, Danica brings over a ton of sponsorship money so the total may only be only 60ish million now, but with some further commitments, there could be alot more where that came from, if Tony George will give here up....

Bernie would love it and of course Max would have new fantasy material.....given F1 is more about the circus than racing these days.

Like I said in the discussion thread, the racing is weighted far more by machinery than by skill. Danica brings in more money and thus, better equipment. I'll take Danica.

I agree Danica has better equipment.

Plus she's used to a spec series.

I say nay. She's a female version of JPM. Too much estrogen, she's not my idea of the first woman F1 driver.

She would not be the first woman F1 driver.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
