Need some help with drawing project for precalculus.

Okay, so I have to do a drawing project for precalculus on a piece of graph paper (so with coordinates) that features conic sections. Meaning ellipses, circles, hyperbolas, and parabolas.
My obvious thought for this was a sportscar of some kind, because just about all sportscars have all of these.
I just need help locating a good example. I'd like an LMP if possible.

And it should have at least one ellipse, one circle, one set of hyperbolas, and one parabola.

    Thanks

    Bentley

How about the Bentley EXP Speed 8? Lots of curves to be found there.

the hyperbola and parabola are going to be the hard ones to find.

It need not be a real car exactly - you can just make an approximation I suppose.

My view is this is an utterly ridiculous assignment that's gonna take a ton of time for some concepts that could be dealt with in a much easier way - but they are trying to make it fun or some garbage like that when it ain't gonna be fun anyways. If you get to use a graphing program then OK, but if this is done by hand... That is gonna suck a lot.

Make a weird happy face or something and be done with it easy. Just imagining stupid crap like this pisses me off and reminds me of the garbage in high school.

EDIT: As long as this isn't virus-laden, a program like this one could really help you visualize it if you need to do it by hand, and if electronic submission is allowed then boom you're done alot easier than before.

I still say you keep it simple though; if you need to do things on angles and use xy terms to slant things that could start to get complicated.

Ah yes, the Pivo would be a good one too...

How about just a wheel? The old telephone dial wheels come to mind, a la Lamborghini Countach or Porsche 928/944.

they lack of hyperola I think, but they would be good too.

I guess Kidty, in his almost-harsh thought, is right i, even if tbh, I dind't really understand what he is going to do int he end.

I'm always right Leon - that's why I am CEO etc. of KFL Racing Enterprises.

What do you mean you didn't really understand what he is going to do in the end, are you referring to Z_F?
