You would immediately recognise (ex) SC.net members. If they make an extensive contribution they may actually use two words......

I meant some could have subscribed here because the other was unavailable.
so they would still have to learn the supreme art of short posting.

I think you missed the point, they are already masters at "one word" posting...

About the Viper, are they going to sell it even if the Fiat affair goes well?

I honestly dont Fiat should go for it, they are doing very well atm, and have a nice range of brands, from the Panda to the Scuderia. I think a merger with Chrysler would just be buying into trouble.

they need a partner to come back to the States, and a free 35% of a brand without having to pay its debts...where is the problem?

Fiat have stated that if they can not get concessions from the unions, the alliance will not happen.

The problem is that Fiat and Alfa Romeo will flop badly in the US and Fiat will lose a lot of money as a result.

I'm not sure...people are quite fascinated by the "European touch", so I don't see Alfas playing bad.
Fiat musts enter only with the smaller cars, like the Panda (not sure about this one), the 500 and maybe even the rumored new Topolino. And the Abarths of course.
The other cars could be sold by Chrysler.

Create a pseudo subsidiary called "Fiat Green" and "Alfa Romeo Hybrid Technologies" and they'll do fine in the States.

Not even we (Europeans) are buying Alfas, I wonder how they'll do in the US...

During the first quarter of this year, four brands increased their European sales, Alfa being one of them.....(Dacia, Hyundai and Skoda the others)
