My Alfa - A long, long wait.

    Hey all,

I haven't been possing around here that much anymore, though I still follow the website's progress (or try to), but I've been driving since September, and was driving my sister's Smart Forfour 1.3 when I needed a car to borrow; at the end of March, though, I finally got my car after a long wait. A wait which started in the first week of August 2008 when i put down a deposit.

I absolutely love it, when I was ill for a week, I just sat in it for 10minutes, not going anywhere. Just felt like it. I'm actually in love a little bit.

    Hope you guys like it

Excellent choice of colour and alloys. Welcome to the club, i've been meaning to get down to Bradley's (our local Alfa dealer) to have a drive in the MiTo. Haven't seen one in the metal so i'm still a bit undecided about the look of the front. What engine/spec is it exactly?

    Congratulations indeed.

I hope you have bought a bus pass too...

    (By the way which engine?)

Mine's a 1.4 95bhp Veloce. Got leather, Bose, Aluminium pedals, heated seats and 18s.

I remember you said you were going to buy a MiTo with 18" wheels when I posted my photos at the Alfa dealer... Congrats!! I don't really like the colour but the leather looks nice! Is this the Diesel version?
Oh, and have fun with it...

195 bhp??? Wow... I didn't know abouth that - I do know about the 180 hp version. So, why that exhaust? I thought it was the diesel one because they usually sport that kind of muffler.

Don't you mean 155hp? Unless you've made your warranty invalid and modified it. I'm still annoyed at how cheap it is to insure, one of the main reasons I want one.

Congratulations. That's a very nice car! MiTos are Ultimatecarpage.com favorites!

He probably means the base 95bhp N/A version.

I really like how these cars look. Probably my favorite small hatchback. You have bought a nice looking car there, no matter what engine it has! Congratulations!

I thought his fingers could have slipped on the "1", but here the base version is a 1.4 with 78 hp...

    Congratulations!!
What a beautiful color combination you have there!
I purely love that color on those leather seats, one of Alfa's finest!

And for all of you who have not seen one in real life, it looks even more stunning in real life than in the photos!!

Best of luck with the car, and keep us posted about how she treats you!

Congratulations on such a great purchase. It really looks times better in person than on pictures.
