Any car. Many miles. Go on, choose.

In the spirit of the Gumball Rally finishing last week, I was wondering what car, given the choice of any ever made, people would choose to drive 3000 odd miles over a few days. Legality doesn't matter, neither does the instance of the car being a one-off or long lost. No need to post pics (although appreciated if the car is very rare and unlikely to be recognised). No need for any detailed explanation either. I'll start off:

Goddard Bentley (1924 Bentley 3 litre with 8 litre TT engine & 550bhp+)
Buying a car and not driving it is like buying a meal and not eating it.

Ferrari 512 TR. Second car I ever truely lusted over... and it's more comfy than the first (F40). When you play Test Drive 2 and NFS 1 as a lad, they grow on you..

As a realistic choice, the Sports Volvo in my avatar.. it did the ~4500kms across this country very nicely.

'89 Mitsu Starion ESI-R turbo (they were all turbo) with MPI conversion + supporting mods, laying down approx 400rwhp.

I covered 3k+ miles on a cross country drive in my '83 Starion and that was a blast, but I'd like to try it with a lil more ooomph this time.

My daughter (behind the wheel of my old '89) and her friends being a lil dramatic...

Well having just sit in it the Laguna GT has some of the comfiest seats ever, but not terribly exciting.

    I'd probably go for a Quattroporte or a DB9.

Hmmm... DBS would prove well. Super fast and comfy. Maybe an Excelero(avatar)? Although a one-off it has the Darth Vader looks and what I believe to be a V12 under the hood. Defintiely a head-turner.

In the backseat of a Brabus Viano.

If I had to drive then probably a Bentley Brooklands if it's highway. Mountain roads would call for a DBS.
