All those Toyota sedans looked pretty similar but don't think the Cressida was ever badged as a Camry. Camry was always FWD I think.

you might have point there about FWD. The last Cressida sold over here (with the distinctive 2 separate headlights was RWD), had no idea that they continued the RWD set-up. Here it was replaced with the first wedge shaped Camry, and the the second version of the Camry looks remarkably similar to your car.Originally Posted by Spastik_Roach

You are right in the sense that most Toyota Sedans of the period are styled similarly Henk, but the Camry of that vintage is a much smaller car than the Cressida in most dimensions - save for width.
