He never really seems to get into it. Seems to me the highest he goes is fourth.

Ditto, shifts likes grandma as well. I wouldn't call it a "hot" lap.

That's what i was about to say. Isn't a 'hot lap' meant to be fast

Take a look at the Ariel Atom he passes on the 2nd lap. The Atom is flat out which should give you an idea on the true speed they were running.

He was going fast, just took it gingerly under braking.

+1, talkign to a few owners, the brakes on the F50 are better than on the F40 but still not great.
