I don't think I've seen many period shots of these cars, only modern pictures.
    You are awesome, Sledge.

Aha, proper Grands Prix, what I truly long for.

Please, if you think you have more info, I will include. I take the photo names for granted most of the time because I dont know much better.

What I meant is that for instance in post #1, the names you posted and the file names don't match.

    1. 1937 Livorno. #18 car is said to be an Auto Union in statistics, which this of course isn't. The car is some Alfa Romeo 12C evolution, hence I suppose some other race.
    2. 1937 Monaco. Goffredo Zehender, Mercedes-Benz W125 & Giuseppe Farina, Alfa Romeo 12C.
    3. 1937 Avus. Manfred von Brauchitsch, Mercedes-Benz W25K-DAB (#36); Hermann Lang, Mercedes-Benz W25K (#37) and some Auto Unio Typ C.
    4. 1938 Livorno. Hermann Lang, Mercedes-Benz W125. Well, my source says 1938 Italian GP was held up at Monza.
    5. 1937 Avus. #36 - Manfred von Brauchitsch, Mercedes-Benz W25K-DAB, #33 - Luigi Fagioli, Auto Union Typ C Stromlinien.
    6. 1937 Monaco. Rudolf Carracciola, Mercedes-Benz W125.

    Post 4.
    1. 1937 Livorno start. #30 - Giovanni Battista Guidotti, Alfa Corse's Alfa Romeo 12C/37.
    2. 1937 Donington. Left - Richard Seaman, Mercedes-Benz W125.
    3. 1937 Avus. #33 - Luigi Fagioli, #31 - Bernd Rosemeyer, both Auto Union Typ C Stromlinien.
    4. 1937 Monaco. Some Mercedes-Benz W125.
    5. 1937 Donington start. #4 - Richard Seaman, Mercedes-Benz W125.
    6. 1937 Eifelrennen start.

Further pictures have some info plates on them.
