    New Vehicle!

Hey guys! So yesterday, went with the family to check out a new car. Brother didn't need the civic anymore and the highlander was getting old in age, 8 years with 87,000 on the odometer. So we went to Audi with both cars to see what we get. We ended up coming home with a brand new 2009 Audi Q5 and lovin every bit of it!

    Gone is the:
2007 Honda Civic Coupe LX 5MT w/ 18,000 miles on it.
2001 Toyota Highlander V6 AWD w/ 87,000 miles on it.

    Now we have a:
    2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan 5AT w/ 50,200 miles on it.
2009 Audi Q5 Premium Plus w/ 40 miles on it.

Got a good deal on it. Not much selection in color and interior as i would have liked due to high demand and since it's only been out since March. Its an amazing vehicle. Drives like a car, handles like a car, smooth as butter on the road. It's fast, sounds nice, kickass sound system and it has those signature Audi LED headlights! It looks great and I can't wait to drive it more and more, especially after break in and i wanna see how it runs on the highway. its comfortable and well designed! I'll post pics soon!!

Out of curiousity, hat made your family choose the Q5 over an equivalent Audi sedan? not trying to start some massive debate, just curious.

well my parents always loved the Q7 but it was too big expensive and unnecessary, not to mention the crap gas mileage. We do't need something that big. If we wanted something that big, we were thinking something along the lines of the GMC Acadia which may not be as luxurious but is more practical in space and price.

My parents seem to like having a vehicle (don't wanna call it an SUV or Crossover) that is raised a little, upright seating and has a vertical trunk (ie tailgate) and roof rails for carrying big objects. The quattro helps in the snow. It feels like a car. A heavier A4 to be honest. My parents never even looked into an Audi sedan. Besides, we have the Infinti G35 as the sport sedan!

The Q5 is a nice vehicle, and the Infinit holds you in good stead around these parts.

    Congrats on the new ve-hi-cles.

    Lower it.
    Lower it.

(for some reason I feel saying "Lower them" would be heresy.)

Not a fan of the Q5, tbh, but who am I to take away from the fun of a new car.
