    I am curious as to what those flaps at the bottom rear of the fuselage are? air brakes perhaps?

    Looks like they would make the nose dive at that angle though.

    They are obviously going at quite some speed but I'm pretty sure the hawk has the single under-fuselage air brake. To perform these kinds of manoeuvres its likely they swing up and down very briefly to allow the jet to control the airflow and turn so quickly and change direction.

    These guys are true professionals though. Some of the best pilots in the world. This is another shot of their trademark move where it looks like they are about to crash head-on at 400-500 mph whilst 6 ft away from each other:
