Over all I'm really impressed with the outcome of the photos.

Was a good afternoon and I might head out again tomorrow.

The viper surprisingly didn't sound nearly as loud as a few of the HSV R8's racing in the class before it. But so very very mean. The Gallardos sounded the best though.
A Porsche GT3 RS went face first into a wall between turns four and five, ended up about a foot shorter than it should have been - No photos as i was too far away.

    Great shots ballz.
I also love the Donut King sponsored GTR. We have arrived at the root of its weight problem!

The Vipers r surprisingly quiet and sound weird. Not quite American thunder but not British buzzers either. I was at Sebring when the last GTS-R competed there.

Maybe they can't let Viper's hit the same rpm's as the street versions, for reliability/endurance reasons?

I can't imagine they would have to add anything that would block some of the sound...

Some tracks have sound regulations. At Lime Rock Park, they have a state trooper with a decibel meter and will fine the park for loud cars.

There's only one track in Australia with noise restrictions thankfully. Eastern Creek is in the middle of a massive complex in the middle of an industrial park bounded by two motorways, so you get all the glorious, unrestricted noise.
