    Strangling is actually quite a bit less "bodily" than using a sword. I'd only use a sword or a knife if I was really, really pissed at someone.

    Archery is fun.. not done that in years.

    Speaking of home-made weapons, I made a battleaxe in uni.. it was an oxy cutting/welding exercise. Not sure I'd take on a boar with it though.. maybe if I had a longer handle on it.

    Can you elaborate on that? I can't think of many "good" purposes other than decorative, for which one could use a sword .
