    Abarth 124 Spider (328) 2016-

They say it will cost from 40 grand across Europe. For what essentially is a standard 124 Spider with an extra 30bhp, a bodykit and a limited slip differential...

Yeah, no. That is a tad on the expensive side for such relatively low increase in output.

Imagine with 40k Euro could buy in the land of the free... A Canadian envious of the US. A rarity.

Even here where the cars are expensive, such price tag makes no sense at all. The Toyobaru can be had for around 30 grand and the 370 Z is only 33 grand (and has twice the power).

However, in a year or so I'm predicting heavily discounted units on the showroom floors...

The 370Z is only just predated by the Big Bang. I forgot that car existed 5 years ago. I suppose Fiat is gonna try to sell these on limited numbers, high demand? But only (I know) 30 more hp? Hmm.

There are chips and whatnot for more power, it's the rest of the supporting stuff that matters more.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
