    LOL!

All this reminds me of southern california. Have crap like that on a pretty regular basis, but probably not such a large scale.

I don't know about rich. Give me a chocolate easter bunny, a microwave, and a bathtub, and I'll show you similar results.

Wow, pretty insane stuff. If anything, we only get fog, but it's less orange and more easy to clean up than dust. And even then, fog is very rare.

Can you see the sun through that stuff?
When we have the fires in SoCal the ash in the air turns the sun to a beautiful orange-red, especially as it's setting. Anything comparable, as these clouds seem to have awakened the shutterbug in our Aussie contingent?

These pictures are classic examples of how Earth will one day turn into Mars. mars once had martians who were wiped out by dust, pollution, and lack of water. That is why Mars is now desolate and unhappy.

Outside was too opaque to be seeing the sun. It's like ash, only because the dust itself is red the dawn was even more orange.. and because it's so fine it seems to just stay in the air.

yeah, Its ridiculously fine - you can feel it clinging to your throat as you breathe in - but you cant "see" it right infront of your eyes.

It did appear to be heaviest at dawn - however I think that was more to do with the angle that the sun was shining more than the amount of dust in the air.
