Sorry to 'jack the thread but I know this car.
It belongs to my friend Phil Bagley, the Hans Niederer Porsche. It's for sale, absolutely correct and exceptional. Wish I could afford it.
It was built by Porsche with the 9552 Rally Kit and five speed transmission as the only options. The car was race prepared and competed very successfully by Hans Niederer in Northeast SCCA events. The engine was a Vasek Polak 2.0 with some trick 906 parts. Hans later prepared the car for the first IMSA races as a GTU entry. The car was campaigned until parked in 1973 where it was stored until Phil bought it, and his company KlubSport performed a full restoration. The car sits on the original minilites it ran on last. Only 34,000 miles from new.
