let me tell you what happened - singapore motor show 2002 - i went to the show with my damn close friend who is also a car freak - so we sat in many nice cars - and then we sat in the st220 - very very simple yet nice interior - then we played with the gear box - there were 6 gears to play with - so we shifted from neutral to first then all the way to the fifth gear - it was all easy peasy then i tried shifting it to the sixth gear and my god what a work it was - i could noy shift it to sixth myself - i needed my friends help - it was that difficult - we push to out fullest and we finally got it into sixth - i don't know if its different if the engine was on but it was a real strange experience

Hey, this may not be the best looking or fastest, but its my favourite - caterham super 7 - there are soooo many variations depending on how much money you want to spend (more£=madder car), it makes them very accessible (as in everyone can own one, rather than everyone can get in one!) to the everyday car nut, bags of fun :-)
PS I dont own one.... YET!

Yeah the R500 is the quickest, its acceleration is awesome - 0-60 in 3.4s according to the caterham website, its 500 bhp/ton for a start, there are not too many cars that beat that! I'd heard the 0-100-0 thing before, caterham deliberately set out to beat the existing record, with uprated brakes and everything, and they beat it by a mile!
