    "Wizard" Pinball Video

I made a post about a pinball machine I bought earlier this year... "Wizard" from 1975.

I wanted to make a video but wanted it to be a high-scoring game. It took a few weeks but I did play such a game and posted it on youtube. The second ball was the best-scoring one... I got a free ball and hit the replay (free game) target twice. Overall score was a little over 271,000, my second highest scoring game.

    Video can be seen here:

Ever since I was a young boy
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

Ever since you were a young boy, what?
Do you mean every since you were a young boy you liked that game?

    Nice seeing "Old school" counters
Would be better to video the back panel as well as the board. I like the movement back there better than watching the ball go round the same bits

I was taken aback at you not recognising the first line Fleet I was singing it by the 4th word !!
Of course perhaps as a "fan" it's more for the other lines where the rumour that the song is actually all about wanking ???

Ever since I was a young boy,
    I've played the silver ball.
    From Soho down to Brighton
I must have played them all.
But I ain't seen nothing like him
    In any amusement hall...
That deaf dumb and blind kid
    Sure plays a mean pinball

    He stands like a statue,
    Becomes part of the machine.
    Feeling all the bumpers
    Always playing clean.
    He plays by intuition,
    The digit counters fall.
That deaf dumb and blind kid
    Sure plays a mean pinball

    He's a pinball wizard
There has to be a twist.
    A pinball wizard's
    Got such a supple wrist.

How do you think he does it? I don't know
    What makes him so good?'

    Ain't got no distractions
Can't hear no buzzers and bells
    Don't see no lights a-flashin'
    Plays by sense of smell
    Always gets a replay
    Never seen him fall
That deaf dumb and blind kid
    Sure plays a mean pinball.

    I thought I was
    The Bally table king.
    But I just handed
    My pinball crown to him.

    Even on my favorite table
    He can beat my best.
    His disciples lead him in
And he just does the rest.
    He's got crazy flipper fingers
    Never seen him fall...
That deaf dumb and blind kind
    Sure plays a mean pinball.

Oh, okay... now it makes sense. I should have realized what the line meant.

I saw "pinball" and "wizard" in the post title and could not resist.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

I did two shots of the back panel during the game so the score could be seen.

Thanks for posting the words; I do remember that song when it came out.
